: The EC-3430K series is a
pediatric-sized videoscope with therapeutic capabilities.
With a slim 11.6mm insertion tube, a large 3.8mm channel
and wide 140 degree angle of view, this instrument can be
used for routine examinations of the colon. It also
includes the additional benefit of incorporating a forward
water jet feature to wash away debris, stool or blood from
a viewing area.
* EC-3830K Series

: A 3.8mm instrument channel and
a dedicated foreard water jet channel are incorporated
within a slim 12.8mm insertion tube. The PENTAX insertion
tube is renowned for its graduated flexibility. Even at
full deflection in the cecum, standard biopsy forceps can
easily be passed through the uniquely designed instrument
channel. The forward water jet provides a direct
pressurized stream of water allowing physicians to target a
specific site, cleaning blood, stool and debris, which
improves visualization during procedure.

: With all the unique
characteristics and specifications of the original EC-3830K
series, the EC-3830K2 series is specially designed to
enhance the hooking technique of 'right-turn shortening' of
the colon. The shaft is especially torque stable and the
special stiffness aids in maintaining straightened
sigmoid.
* EC-3830T Series (Two Channel)

- EC-3830TFK (1,500mm)
- EC-3830TLK (1,700mm)
: The two channel construction
of the EC-3830TK series has extra large 3.8mm and 2.8mm
diameter channels. Extremely effective aspiration can be
performed through one channel, while forceps remain
inserted through the other. Not only polypectomies but also
the grasping and removal of polyps and other endoscopically
harvested materials are simplified. Each EC-3830TK series
scope features a dedicated forward water jet channel. With
a 140 degree field of view, this scope can be used not only
for routine examinations but also for therapeutic
procedures.
